A recipe didn’t work

Tell us which recipe, which step, and what happened — including your oven, your pan and your flour if it is a baking recipe. Most failures come down to one of those three, and if the recipe is unclear we would rather fix it than leave it.

Corrections

If a measurement, temperature or time looks wrong, please say so. Corrections are made quickly and the recipe’s update date is changed so you can see it happened.

Photographs and reprints

Every photograph on this site is original work and is not stock. They are not licensed for reuse by default. If you would like to use one — editorially, commercially or in a roundup — email us with the specific image and the context, and we will usually say yes.

Brands and partnerships

We are open to working with brands whose products we would use anyway. We do not publish paid recipes that we have not cooked, and any commercial relationship is disclosed on the page it affects.
